Sapro, which exports its products to six continents and is one of the largest in wet wipes production in Europe, signed a contract with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) in November 2020 to realize the production of Newipe®, a new generation sustainable viscose fabric. ) had received an investment loan of 21 million Euros from the fund provided by the joint venture. With this loan, the company started both R&D studies and production investments, and produced Newipe® using completely natural fibers by combining two different technologies.
