Sector representatives stated that the “My New Home” campaign, which was implemented with the new housing finance model for middle-income people, offers significant opportunities to middle-income people who want to buy a house, and stated that the sector will become active and production will increase. Nureddin Nebati, Minister of Treasury and Finance, and Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, shared the details of the “My New Home” campaign, which was implemented with the new housing finance model for middle-income people. According to the Yeni Evim Housing Finance Program, the financing amounts to be provided by banks and participation financial institutions are maximum 5 million liras in Istanbul, which is the 1st Region, and 3 million liras in the provinces of the 2nd Region (Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin and Muğla). for the (other) cities in the 3rd Region, a maximum of 2 million liras. In the campaign, where the minimum down payment rate is 10 percent, the interest/profit share rates will start from 0.69 percent in the financings to be provided with a maximum maturity of 15 years. With the financing model, which will be offered with ease of payment for the first 3 years with the support of the state and payment opportunities compatible with the household income throughout the loan term, it is aimed that all of the 100 thousand families will have their first-hand new homes in the first place. For contractors who make guarantor agreements with banks and undertake to produce houses by being included in the program, access to 25 billion liras of financing will be offered with the Treasury-backed KGF guarantee. Within the scope of the campaign, where price monitoring will be carried out meticulously, the persons found to have made an unfair price increase will be shared with the relevant units in order to take necessary action.
