Vodafone Turkey announced the first half (April-September 2022) results for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Accordingly, the company’s service revenues stood at TL 11.5 billion, while its Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation and Taxes (EBITDA) rose to TL 4.2 billion. In this period, the number of Vodafone Turkey’s mobile subscribers reached 25.3 million, while the total number of mobile subscribers including M2M (Inter-Machine Communication) reached 28.4 million. The company increased the number of postpaid subscribers to 17.6 million. Continuing to work with the aim of providing the best service to its customers in broadband technologies, Vodafone Turkey has 1.4 million fixed broadband subscribers.
442 million “digital interactions”
Vodafone continues its activities with a focus on digitalization in all channels, and the number of monthly active customers using digital channels such as Vodafone Yanımda and Online Self Service has reached 17.9 million. The monthly total interaction of customers using Vodafone’s digital channels reached 442 million.
Data usage increased by 25.5%
In the first 6 months of the fiscal year, Vodafone Turkey customers’ total mobile data usage rose to 1,966 petabytes with an increase of 25.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. In the said period, Vodafone Turkey continued its growth in the field of digital services. The total sales, including the Supermarket Yanımda sales, in the online shopping platform, Everything is on My Side, implemented by the company through Vodafone Yanımda mobile application, exceeded 2.5 million, while the number of visits to the platform approached 80 million. By the end of the first half of the fiscal year, the total number of users using the products of Vodafone’s new generation mobile finance solution Vodafone Pay reached 4.1 million.

Vodafone Turkey CEO Engin Aksoy made the following assessment regarding the results of the first half of the 2022-23 fiscal year: “We continue our investments with the confidence we have in the future of our country and our industry. We hope that Turkey will join the list of countries embracing 5G as soon as possible.
