1. Object
1.1. This regulation establishes the conditions applicable to the application, selection, award and contracting of 1 (one) training grant for the attendance of the Program in Business Administration (hereinafter “PAE”), which will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022 .
2. Doctor of Corporate Finance Training Scholarship – PHC GO Management Software
2.1. The Doctor Finance Companies – PHC GO Management Software scholarship for attending the PAE comprises:2.1.1. A subsidy for registration, enrollment and tuition fees related to the frequency of the PAE that will be given at the European University in the last quarter of 2022, awarded by Doutor Finanças, Unipessoal, Lda.; and2.1.2. A one-year subscription to the PHC GO cloud management software in the PRO plan, awarded by PHC Software to the organization to which the winning candidate belongs.2.2. The attribution of each component of the Doctor Finance Companies training scholarship – PHC GO Management Software is subject to verification of the eligibility conditions established in article 3 of these Regulations.2.3. Any and all other expenses or costs related to the attendance of the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022 other than the respective registration, registration and tuition, namely travel and food costs and expenses, will be the sole responsibility of the candidate.2.4. All applicants who submit a valid application will benefit from a discount on tuition fees for the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022.
3. Eligibility
3.1. Individuals who:3.1.1. Fulfill the application requirements established by the European University for the frequency of the PAE, submit their application to the PAE and be accepted by the European University;3.1.2. Are members of a management or administration body of, or who hold a management position in a commercial company, association or foundation with headquarters and effective management in Portugal;3.1.3. They expressly declare their willingness to attend and complete the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022.3.2. The allocation of the annual subscription component of the PHC GO cloud management software in the PRO plan is also subject to the following conditions:3.2.1. The organization to which the winning candidate belongs is not a PHC Software customer;3.2.2. Not combinable with other discounts or campaigns in force, or other PHC Software products or services.
4. Application and Supporting Documents
4.1. The deadline for applications will be between 23 September and 21 October 2022.4.2. Candidates must submit their application and supporting documents to the email address Bolsa.pae@knowledgenetworks.com.pt.4.3. The application email must include:4.3.1. A text authored by the candidate, with a maximum of 500 words, in which the candidate explains his motivation for attending the PAE and the impact that such frequency may have for the entity where the candidate works;4.3.2. The candidate’s CV, in free format;4.3.3. A brief description of the activity developed by the entity where the candidate works;4.3.4. Document proving the legal relationship between the candidate and the entity (commercial company, association or foundation) where the candidate performs functions (for example, commercial registration certificate, declaration signed by the entity’s legal representative);4.3.5. Declaration signed by the candidate expressing willingness to attend and complete the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022;4.3.6. Candidate’s contact details, for contact purposes in case of being the winner of the contest.
5. Evaluation of Applications
5.1. Applications will be evaluated by a three-person jury composed of:5.1.1. A representative of Doutor Finanças Empresas;5.1.2. A representative of PHC Software;5.1.3. A representative of the European University.5.2. The evaluation of applications will focus on (a) the motivation shown by the candidate to attend the PAE and on (b) the impact that such attendance may have for the entity where the candidate works.
6. Disclosure of Results
6.1. The results will be published on the Doutor Finanças website and on the PHC website on October 21, 2022.6.2. The winner and three substitutes will be announced, ordered according to the evaluation of the jury.6.3. The results are final and cannot be appealed.
7. Contracting
7.1. The winner will be contacted after the announcement of the results of the contest for the purpose of scheduling the contracting of the training grant.7.2. If for any reason the winner declares that he does not intend or is not able to attend the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022, the scholarship will be awarded to the first alternate and so on.7.3. The scholarship contract will be concluded at a date and place to be agreed with the candidate in due course.
8. Cancellation of the Scholarship
8.1. The scholarship may be canceled if the candidate withdraws from attending the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022, considering such withdrawal if the candidate does not attend at least 50% of the training modules that comprise it.8.2. The provisions of the previous number do not apply if the non-attendance results from illness or another condition that determines the inability of the candidate to attend the training modules of the Program.8.3. The cancellation of the scholarship will determine the candidate’s obligation to pay:8.3.1. To Doutor Finanças Empresas, Lda., the amounts corresponding to registration, enrollment and tuition fees related to attendance at the PAE that will be taught at the European University in the last quarter of 2022;8.3.2. To PHC Software, the amount corresponding to the annual subscription to the PHC GO cloud management software, in the PRO plan.
