There are a lot of fans of Fuller House that are wondering if there will be another season of the show. If you have been watching the show since it came on in 2013, then you probably want to know whether or not it is going to have a third season. The series is a spin-off of the original series which was first on the air in 1987. It has a rating of 6.7 out of 10 on IMDb.
D.J. Tanner-Fuller is a widow and mother of three
A new series, Fuller House, centers on D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a widow and mother of three young boys. She’s struggling to raise her boys alone.
The show is based on the original television series, Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995. It also features a cast of celebrities. Some of the stars who will appear in the new show include Val Chmerkovskiy, Mary-Kate Olsen, Maks Chmerkovskiy, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
The series premieres on February 26. Several of the original actors will reprise their roles. They include Juan Pablo di Pace, Lori Loughlin, and John Stamos.
In addition to the main characters, there are several guest stars. One of them is Becky Katsopolis, who was introduced in season two.
Another is Vicky, who serves as a mother figure to D.J. and Danny. At one point in the series, she even gives relationship advice to Danny.
The other two are Matt Harmon and Vicky, who make brief appearances. Both of these characters are similar to the character of Danny Harmon. These guys are also involved in a band called Hot Daddy and the Monkey Puppets.
During the sixth season, a new character, Steve Hale, is added. He first appeared in the season five episode “Sisters in Crime”.
As part of his role in the show, Steve is a podiatrist. But he has a hunch that D.J. may be interested in him. So, he starts dating her. This is a big step for D.J. but she’s reluctant to take it.
The ladies fall in love with secrets
The ladies of Full House have had a few tangled webs to wade through. A few have been rewarded with accolades and a few have been left to flounder. For the most part, the show has been a revolving door of characters in and out. Although a few names have been in and out for years, the ones that stick around are a handful of the good kind. Whether you are a fan of the show or not, the show has been a worthy addition to the TV line up. Luckily for us, Netflix will be launching the show’s long-awaited sequel in September.
In addition to the aforementioned show’s return, Netflix has also rolled out a few new series in the past few months. It’s not all bad news for the cast and crew as they have been able to show their stuff off in a variety of starring roles. Some of the stars of the show have even returned as guest stars. To top it off, the Netflix crew has added some new faces to their family tree. Including a whacky, sarcastic comedian, a preppy affluent businessman and a smarmy slacker.
The ladies reunite for the final time before the family home is sold
A few years ago, the Tanner family was reunited with their old neighbors from Katsopolis. Now, the gang has come together for one last time before the family home is up for sale.
One of the most interesting events of this season is the arrival of a new Fuller house member. While the Tanners are busy making preparations for their departure, the house fills with new tenants.
The show is produced by Miller-Boyett Productions. Many of the original cast members are back to reprise their roles. But not all.
This year’s edition will be a bit lighter on the cast. In fact, some of the stars have not appeared in a Fuller House episode in over a decade. Still, the ensemble remains close in real life.
On top of the usual fare, the Tanners will be teaming up with best friend Kimmy and the lovable oaf Stephanie. They will also get to know their new neighbors better.
As with all the other seasons, the cast will tackle topics ranging from the mundane to the sublime. For instance, in this week’s episode, Becky and Jesse will renew their wedding vows.
However, a new resident is sure to stir up some trouble. After all, how could she not?
The ladies make a comeback on the big stage
Fuller House is a television series starring Candace Cameron Bure, Bob Saget, Jodie Sweetin, and Vicky Larson. The show aired for five seasons and ended in January 2007. However, Netflix announced that they’re going to bring back the show in 2016. They’re also bringing some of the original cast back.
The show has been a ratings winner for the streaming service, with over ten million viewers per episode. However, it’s unclear how many seasons it’ll continue. Netflix has already announced that it’s recasting most of the original cast.
For instance, the new show will not feature original stars like the Olsen twins. They’re returning for Season 5, but not for the rest of the show.
Meanwhile, the other main character, Kimmy Gibbler, is played by Andrea Barber. She’s the best friend of D.J. and sister of Stephanie Tanner. During the episode, she helps D.J. throw a party for his friend, Becky.
As a side note, Fuller House has been filmed in Tokyo, Japan. The show has used Warner Bros. backlot locations, including the Hennessy Street backlot.
There’s also been a lot of celebrity cameos. From Tom Hanks to Ellen DeGeneres, the show has been blessed with a lot of great guest stars. It’s been a bit of a juggling act to figure out which actors will appear, but fans were thrilled to see some familiar faces.
Bob Saget died unexpectedly at age 65
Bob Saget, the actor who starred on Full House, died unexpectedly at age 65. He was on a stand-up tour and was found unresponsive at his hotel room in Orlando, Florida.
After a hotel employee spotted Saget in his room, they called the fire department and police, who arrived shortly thereafter. The medical examiner said there was no foul play involved. However, the cause of death is still being investigated.
It is possible that Bob Saget had some kind of head injury. A hard object covered by a soft object was the cause of his death.
Upon learning of Saget’s death, his family issued an announcement. They asked for privacy during the investigation. But it was only four weeks after the death that they publicly announced.
Bob Saget’s death comes as he is on a cross-country stand-up tour. His last show took place in Jacksonville on Saturday. He also performed a two-hour stand-up set in Ponte Vedra Beach.
The stand-up comic was not suspected of foul play and was not under any drug influence. However, the Florida chief medical examiner is investigating the cause of his death.
In an article published by The Los Angeles Times, John Stamos, who appeared with Saget on Full House, spoke about their friendship. He also talked about the comedian’s fans.
Fuller House is a spinoff of the 1987 series Full House
A spinoff of the 1987 series Full House is now in the works, with Netflix ready to launch the series in February. Fans can expect to see Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber in the show.
The original series aired from 1987 to 1995 on ABC. It starred Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Ashley Olsen. This show was a precursor to the hit sitcom The Brady Bunch.
After the show ended, producers continued to pitch the show to various networks. Some of these series were cancelled. Others like Knight Rider and A Very Brady Christmas came and went. Finally, Netflix took a chance and revived the series.
When the original series aired, critics were publicly cringing at the saccharine story lines. They also found the writing of the show unoriginal.
Full House was a popular series in the ’80s and ’90s. The show centered on a young family living in San Francisco. The Tanners were a proving ground for young couples.
In 2016, a sequel series was in the works. Candace Cameron-Bure will star as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian who lives in San Francisco. She’s pregnant with a baby.
