The Bachelorette season 18 episode 7 is one of the most exciting episodes of the entire season. There are four men left in the running and the finalists are going to take a trip to Minneapolis to spend some time with each other. The group date is going to be a romantic prom and apple-picking session, and the men will be confessing their feelings for each other.
Nayte’s family isn’t very touchy-feely
Nayte’s family is not a very touchy feely bunch. The Olukoya family got divorced almost a year and a half ago, and they have never really spoken openly about romantic relationships. But, this season of The Bachelorette has been a good opportunity to get to know each other.
Aside from being a very fun show, it also features a couple of genuinely happy couples. This episode is a lot less fraught than previous ones, thankfully, and Michelle and Nayte seem to be genuinely happy.
There are a few things to keep an eye out for in The Bachelorette season 18. Those include a few of the more obvious contestants, but there are a few of the lesser knowns. Those include Michelle’s mom, who is very supportive of her daughter.
There is also the hilarrhous (?) fact that Michelle and Nayte’s parents have a great rapport. They even traveled to Michelle’s home town of Minneapolis to see her family.
Earlier in the episode, the family was quite skeptical about Nayte’s readiness for engagement. However, this has all changed since Michelle and Nayte made their grand entrance at the season finale.
As for Nayte’s storyline, it seems as though he had a breakthrough moment with his mom. This is a big deal, considering the Olukoya family has been fairly insular. This was the first time Michelle and Nayte actually talked to his parents about their relationship.
There aren’t many details on what exactly happened. But, there is a slew of rumors and theories flying around. The best guess is that Michelle and Nayte will end up being engaged sometime in 2022. Whether or not this will happen is anybody’s guess.
Rick tells Michelle on the whereabouts of his parents
Rick tells Michelle on the whereabouts of his parents on The Bachelorette season 18 episode 7. He also tells her the story of his father, who had an affair and later died by suicide. They had a very close bond. He was only 17 when he discovered his dad cheating on his mom. He blamed himself for his dad’s misdeeds, but eventually realized that it was up to him to take responsibility for his own actions.
It wasn’t until a month after the incident that his dad died that he finally told his mother what had happened. He told her that he had found a text message on his dad’s phone from another woman.
The one thing he told her that surprised her was that his parents were divorced. This was actually a really good thing for him, because it meant that he had two sets of parents. Ultimately, this led to a lot of good family time.
A lot of women have asked him about his parents, and he’s happy to share his tales with them. He also told her about a cool experience he had at his parents’ house. He took a ride on an air trolley. His parents have a great love of history, and they are both fans of the military, so they love to hear about war stories.
The episode is a bit long, but there’s a lot to enjoy. The group dates are fun, especially if you’re in the group. The episode also has some big surprises in store. For instance, there’s a new guy named Clayton Echard. He appears as the first male of the week. He has a lot of promise, and we’re looking forward to seeing how his Bachelorette journey progresses.
Kaitlyn’s plan for him to join Bachelor in Paradise
The first season of Bachelor in Paradise starts with a group of men and women. There are a lot of unevenly matched women and men. However, this season has two major success stories.

Michelle gives the rose to Nayte
It’s a happy ending for The Bachelorette season 18 as Michelle gives the rose to Nayte. While they don’t get engaged right away, they seem to be genuinely happy.
The couple travels back to the resort where they got engaged and have a fun fantasy suite date. They even share a first kiss. And at the end, they both receive a down payment for their new house.
Nayte is black and comes from a divorced household. His mother is still very supportive, and he’s even BFFs with her. However, his stepfather is not so positive. He doesn’t know whether or not Nayte will become engaged by the end of the show.
The couple spends time with Michelle’s family and friends. They also paddle board above the Mississippi River. They’re accompanied by a mariachi band, who play a romantic tune. They finish the day by receiving their first impression roses.
Later, Nayte gets to know his family. He opens up about his parents, and admits that he hasn’t always been in love. His mom encourages him to propose to her. But he’s not completely ready.
Then, Nayte receives his second one-on-one date. This one is in Wayzata, Minnesota. He gets a chance to talk to his former stepson, Charles. The pair stumbles through their initial conversation, but eventually come to the realization that they love each other.
Finally, the two share their final hometown date. They go to the spot where Michelle’s mom “torn” Nayte up. They even receive a gingerbread present with a down payment for US$200,000.
The show concludes with a ceremony, where Michelle gives the rose to Nayte and then tells him that she will always be there for him. She also shares her letter with him.
Olu gets the group date rose

On this week’s episode, the remaining men arrive in Minneapolis. A special twist is added to the season with hometowns week. This week, the final four men bring their families to meet Michelle. This is a fun twist on the season. The boys will try to impress Michelle in different ways. They’ll go skateboarding, apple picking, and more.
Meanwhile, Olu and Martin start bickering. But then, they end up getting into a match. And Chris refuses to look at Olu in the face. This ends up in a shocking conclusion.
In other news, Peter Izzo and Will were eliminated from Bachelor in Paradise. In addition, Romeo Alexander left in week 2. In the last episode, Will and Peter faced each other in the final round. The episode also featured bomber jacket-gate, when Peter threw his coat into the swimming pool.
In other news, Nayte apologizes for not paying attention during the group date. He also wants to introduce Michelle to his father. But he hurts his back during the wheelbarrow challenge.
