During the The Bachelor Season 26 Episode 5 the contestants have to deal with some tough moments. Rachel, Sarah, and Gabby will have to get to know each other better and learn to be friends, while Mara will have to deal with a new person, and Shanae will have to deal with her own past. In the end, Clayton will have to make a decision and head to Galveston, Texas.

Sarah and Rachel excel on group dates without reward

During The Bachelor season 26 episode 5, the group dates are a success for both Sarah and Rachel, but one of the ladies will get sent home. As you can imagine, the stakes are even higher when the realization hits these hometowns. The two will have to go on one more date to determine which one gets eliminated.

As the two ladies have a one-on-one date, they are both able to talk about their past relationships, including the one they shared with Clayton. In fact, Sarah even opens up about her adoption and how her tears were evident during their therapy session.

In addition to the one-on-one date, Clayton and Sarah also go on a romantic snack on a helipad at the Loggia Clock Tower. The pair also perform an Extreme Scavenger Hunt. They sing about how they met, perform a dance, and even smash pinatas. They also take a boat ride along the Niagara River. They waltz as Austrian couples follow them.

The group date also features the infamous two-on-one date between Shanae and Genevieve. During this date, Clayton is able to see how much power Shanae holds. He gives her a rose.

Meanwhile, Clayton continues to have a difficult time with his self-image after his Iceland trip. He also tries to get a handle on the red flags he’s seen in the other bachelorettes. He also talks to Rachel about how much he loves Susie.

While the group date is a success for Sarah and Rachel, they have to wait until next week for the reveal of which lady got sent home. The two ladies will also have to deal with the repercussions of their confrontation at the cocktail party. Hopefully, they’ll be able to avoid another showdown like last season.

This week, the group date features the infamous “Toasty” date. As the group date host, Katrina sets up a series of challenges. One of these challenges involves finding hidden mini whiskey bottles in a dress. She also gives them maple-syrup shots.

When the group date comes to an end, the two ladies start bickering. Elizabeth is getting tired of Shanae’s curious nature. She’s also getting aggravated by Shanae’s irrational behavior. She’s even having trouble with Clayton.

Shanae hurts by throwing the trophy in the pond

Despite her attempts to hide her actions, Clayton Echard pulled Shanae aside for a private talk after Shanae threw the trophy she won on a group date into a pond. Shanae told Clayton that she had been “heated in the moment”, but Clayton said that it was impossible to defend her actions.

Shanae told Clayton that she was upset about her behavior and that she wanted to be a good confidant with other women. But Clayton said that it was time to take it international.
