This week’s episode of Grown-ish focuses on the relationship between Luca and Kyla. Both of them have been in contact with Doug, but he has no opinion on the matter.
Celebrity Myxer recap
Grown-ish is a spinoff of ABC’s hit series Black-ish. It follows Zoey Shahidi as she enters her twenties and enters the world of work and adulthood. In addition to Zoey, the series stars Luka Sabbat, Chloe Bailey, Jordan Buhat, and Marcus Scribner. The series is currently airing on Freeform and Hulu. Episodes are available to watch for free. There are fourteen episodes in all. You can find more information about the series by visiting the show’s official website.
In the season’s tenth episode, “It Was Good Until It Wasn’t,” the cast gets together for a luau party. However, the event has negative repercussions. Aaron and Luca are at each other’s throats, and Kiela and Doug have their issues. This leads to a setback in their relationship.
Despite the fact that the luau is a hoot, it is not the only event of note. When Zoey receives a call from her former boyfriend, Aaron, she finds herself in an uncomfortable situation. She is also scouting for another internship when she stumbles upon a certificate from Charlie. At first she is skeptical, but eventually, she gives it a shot.
Another interesting event happens when Nomi receives a legal offer. She will be attending Yale Law School in the fall of 2020. Meanwhile, Phil decides to join Nomi in Connecticut. Not only is Phil a lawyer, but he also a big fan of Nomi. He is also willing to help out when it comes to a custody battle with her mother.
While the group has fun, it is also forced to confront the consequences of their actions. One of the more memorable moments involves a distracted driver in a Buick. Luckily, the driver isn’t seriously injured. But the driver’s misfortune is the least of Zoey’s worries.
Other notable events include Zoey’s and Lucas’s budding creative partnership. A new line of Anti-Muse is in the works, but the two have a lot of issues to overcome.
Zoey, on the other hand, is on the lookout for her next big step, and luckily, she is able to land the job of her dreams. Upon receiving the news, she makes an executive decision. Of course, the real question is which direction she will go. Her choice will have significant repercussions for the rest of her life.
Whether or not Zoey’s choice will make her a happy wife and mom is something she will have to ponder for the remainder of her lifetime. After all, she is in for a rollercoaster ride. Hopefully, she will be able to take the time to enjoy her journey.
The upcoming episode of Grown-ish will be the show’s last before it heads back to Freeform in January 2022. Hopefully, we will see some old favorites return. If you haven’t watched the series before, now is the perfect time to check it out.
Luca’s sister Kyla and Doug are in contact but he has no opinion on this
Luca Jae Hall is a fashion major at California University (Cal U). While in school, he has a crush on Zoey Johnson, a girl he met in the pre-teen years. However, after their first date, their relationship is a stalemate. Throughout season two, Luca and Zoey have numerous hiccups to overcome before they can call themselves a couple. In the series’ finale, Luca and Zoey’s romance is tested when a mutual friend of theirs invites them to attend a private party in Mexico. It is during this event that Luca makes a revelation about his sister Kyla and her boyfriend Doug. He isn’t too impressed when he finds out he’s in for a rude awakening.
Luca was not only a fashion buff, he also had a knack for the tiniest of details. A few years later, he took on the task of starting a fashion line known as Anti-Muse. The name is an homage to his favorite artist, Joey Bada$$. And while the title might sound like a bad boy scout, he is more of a geek than a jerk.
What really catches Luca’s eye though is his younger sister, Nadya, who is recovering from a major injury. She is the type of woman Luca would like to be, but can’t quite reach. Fortunately, her younger brother is on his side, and they begin to devise a plan to make some extra cash while on the road. But, Luca has his work cut out for him, as the octogenarian has a bit of a reputation for being a ladies man. As luck would have it, the two pranksters have a few tricks up their sleeves. One of their more successful schemes is to create fake parties to make money. Not exactly an easy feat, considering Nadya’s apprehension. But if Luca can get over his fear of women, he might be able to make his family feel like family.
Another reason Luca demonstrates the obelisk of the title is he gets his chance to win a free trip to the Grand Canyon. Thankfully, he does not have to fly alone, as his friends are on hand to lend a helping hand. Luca is a big fan of hiking, and he enjoys hiking with his buddies as well as the company of his beloved pet pooch, Kiela. His other hobby is art. For instance, he’s got a nice collection of modern art and vintage masterpieces, but his collection of antique baubles is just as impressive.
Luca has more to prove in the long run, especially when it comes to repairing his relationship with his sister. With the right guidance, he might be able to turn a bad situation into a good one. This is all the more true when you consider that he has an interesting sister in the first place.
