We reached the end of TVING’s ADDICTIVE drama «Rose Mansion«, again there are no ratings to mention, but I clarify that it is one of the best dramas I have seen in this first half of 2022. It is clear that the creators come from the cinema for the shots, the impressive and uncut images and the rhythm that does not hide that it is a story of suspense and mystery and the end … by God! I demand a continuation, although I already know that coming from an OTT platform, it is unlikely, but they left me biting my nails!! This drama really exceeded my expectations!!

Her father always compares her sisters and Song Ji Na is the one who is disadvantaged, so she decides to go to another city where she can live better. But almost at the end we discover that her obsession with not being compared to her sister, makes her build a past to be accepted without criticism. Song Ji Na works at a hotel where she puts up with rude customers and malicious bosses. One day, her father demands that she return to Seoul as her sister, Song Ji Hyun, has disappeared and cannot be located. Reluctantly, Song Ji Na returns to the family home and discovering strange things at home, she reports her sister’s absence to the police. Even when, in the end, he himself reveals to her the reasons why he has stayed close to her by taking care of her, Song Ji Na cannot help but feel confident and protected by her side, although he, anguished, confesses that she became his “first love” and a dangerous obsession that transformed him into someone terribly violent with criminals. The narrative rhythm and the story, of course, are exciting, it keeps you attentive to what is happening on the screen trying to discover the person who took Song Ji Hyun and where the girl is, since she is not supposed to have come out from the area of ​​the Rose Mansion apartments where other mysterious and dangerous stories are being woven under the noses of the frivolous neighbors, who are only obsessed with not lowering the value of their homes, since they plan to live in a new luxurious tower that give them a higher social status, when the apartment tower is demolished and in its place a luxurious area to which few can aspire is built. Of course, I had doubts that are worthy of clarification in a second season, such as: Does Park Min Soo survive? What happened to Song Ji Hyun’s computer and what information was there that so many were looking for? Who does Sok Ja, the president of the Rose Mansion neighborhood council, serve now? Why did Sok Ja start spying on Song Ji Na? Will Oh Beom get what she deserved for betraying the one she called Hyung? Will Song Ji Na now be able to stop lying? Who is Song Ji Hyun’s killer? With all these doubts, in summary I am saying that the story is open-ended, so I can only shout to the creatives and to TVING: ¡¡¡Don’t leave me like this for God’s sake!!
