BURSA (WORLD) – The results of the 1501 Industry R&D Support Program 2022 1st Call, which was opened on January 3, 2022, with the aim of increasing the technology and product development competency targeting the international market in the technology fields needed by improving the R&D capacity of SME-scale companies, were announced. Mubitek Design, which has been carrying out customer-oriented studies in the fields of mold and product design and program software since 2005, ranked 19th among 280 companies entitled to be supported.
It will establish a digital system with augmented design methods
Explaining that they have successfully completed 11 R&D projects and created innovation in design, Deputy General Manager Dr. Gül Çiçek Zengin Bintaş announced that they aim to provide integrated management from design to production of the part ordered in the project-based manufacturing process similar to mold making, with the project titled “Project Based Manufacturing Management with Enhanced Design”, for which they were entitled to receive R&D support from the 1501 Industry R&D Support Program. Bintaş said, “Developing augmented design methods starting from design for production, managing CAD/CAM files, making feature assignment smart, developing RPAs for autonomous systems for jobs that do not add value, providing up-to-date information to production by following design revisions, ensuring data management and reliability. To create design capabilities that will increase the autonomous level of the design process, to access similar design features with machine learning methods and to convert them into a form that can be used for new design, to create design data with artificial intelligence algorithms for production planning, to create work flow system and process steps, Our primary goal is to connect data and create a digital system that provides automatic data transfer from design to production to existing ERPs.”
Save time and cost
Stating that they will gain a significant competitive advantage with the realization of the TÜBİTAK project, Gül Çiçek Zengin Bintaş said, “In this way, the design will be able to start 35 percent ahead. We will minimize the error rate in designs. Digitization will be offered in production processes with revision tracking and up-to-date data access. It will save a significant amount of time and cost.”
