Minister Kasapoğlu, in his speech at the opening of the Osmangazi Athletics Hall, built by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Osmangazi Municipality in Bursa’s Aticilar district, said that this facility is one of the most qualified complexes in Europe. Emphasizing that champions will be trained in the facility, which is one of the two most modern athletics halls in Turkey, Kasapoğlu continued: “Some people say, ‘What is the need for so many facilities?’ They do not understand the politics of natural works, their politics of service, what is production, what does it mean. We talk with you about our works. We do politics with you through our actions, but of course they do not understand this, they will not understand it. They say, ‘What is the need?’ Let them continue to do their politics. We will continue to produce together with you, and to run with love for this nation. Expressing that they do not and will not give any opportunity to those who attempt to engage in a politics of exploitation through dormitories and youth, Kasapoğlu stated that they will continue a youth-oriented, work-oriented policy. “No one will be able to hold back Turkey with its strong youth” Minister Kasapoğlu stated that the athletes participating in the international championships from Turkey won 5,300 medals in 51 branches this year, and informed that this figure has exceeded 20 thousand in the last 4 years, including the epidemic process. Here are these works, this strong infrastructure, for our young people to prepare them for a stronger tomorrow.” Minister Kasapoğlu stated that Osmangazi Athletics Hall, built on an area of 14,500 square meters, has a 6-lane track with pole vault, long jump, 3-step jump, shot put and throwing.
