Noting that their main field of activity is the production of fresh coffee, Kahve.com founder Levent Aktaş said that at their facility in Çekmeköy, raw coffees from 25 countries are roasted with different recipes and offered for sale fresh. Stating that fresh coffee and industrial coffee are different products and have different buyers, Aktaş said, “At this point, we produce solutions for both preferences. We are also the distributor of the Canadian company Grosche, a coffee equipment manufacturer, in Turkey and Europe. Grosche is a brand preferred by those looking for high quality in mokapot, thermos and brewing equipment, especially in North America, and we offer a wide range of products under this brand. In the field of fresh coffee, we designed our factory, which has a monthly production and packaging capacity of 100 tons of coffee, in a way that can be expanded according to needs. We have investment plans to increase capacity and diversity at the beginning of 2023. On the packaging side, we follow the solutions that will speed us up and gradually include them in our production.” Noting that they have foreseen the growth in the field of e-commerce and modeled their companies accordingly, and created their infrastructure and human resources in this direction, Aktaş said that they are experts in e-commerce due to their previous corporate business experience. Mentioning that the pandemic has created an acceleration in the use of e-commerce, Aktaş said, “However, we were ready before the pandemic, we made our investments in this direction and we still continue to do so. E-commerce; Beyond delivering the best quality product in the fastest way without making your customers suffer, even being easily accessible is a very important factor. That’s why it’s important to be able to say, ‘I do all my shopping with confidence’.
Will invest as interest in new products increases
Expressing that they are positioning themselves as semi-industrial coffee producers, Aktaş announced that they are offering their new products to consumers this year. Pointing out that disposable filter coffee products attract great attention, Aktaş said, “We have produced products suitable for making 1 cup or 1 liter filter coffee. Thus, the mind of the consumer is very clear. He makes his coffee with the right proportions, and the price consciousness is clear. We used to have our capsule coffee made in Italy before. Now, this production is made in our country in a much better quality and fresh way. As the interest in new products increases, we will continue to invest in these products. As a result of the developments in our country’s economy, we will close this year with a growth of 20 percent in dollar terms. We have a team of approximately 20 people, including employees and consultants, and this number may vary depending on the projects.”

He should know with peace of mind that whatever is written on the package is the same as the product in the package.
