IZMIR –
Stating that they have increased their turnover from 350 thousand euros to 2 million euros since Doruk International Logistics was established, Doruk Group of Companies General Manager Vedat Aktaş said that they will invest approximately 1 million euros until the end of 2022 and 4.5 million euros in 2023. Aktaş added that they are planning to open offices abroad starting from Europe in the coming period. Noting that as Doruk Group of Companies, they continue their activities with three companies, Aktaş said, “Our company, which was established in 2014 under the leadership of our chairman of the board of directors, Mustafa Çelik, and started to serve as a customs consultancy, has grown and became Doruk Gümrük Müşavirliği Lojistik Hiz. Ltd. Sti., Doruk Transportation Services İç ve Dış Tic. A.Ş., Doruk International Logistics Foreign Trade. Ltd. Sti. and formed the Doruk Group of Companies. Our roofing company, Doruk Customs Consultancy, provides customs clearance services at all customs. Our company Doruk Transportation Services organizes domestic transportation, and our company Doruk International Logistics organizes transportation works that have TIO (Transportation Organization Authorization Certificate). We provide services such as partial and complete land, air and sea transportation and storage from all ports of the world to all ports under one roof. Stating that they are preferred by customers as they have the capacity to follow up at every stage of the service provided according to the customer’s demands, Aktaş said, “We can be a follower of the works from the beginning to the end. It’s a logistics chain. Providing all services under a single roof, information flow, feedback, accurate and complete reporting of documents, invoicing process and delivery of loads to the last point, and providing all these from a single source and in an accurate manner bring quality service together. Stating that they mainly work in Europe, especially in Germany, where Turkish foreign trade is the most intense, Aktaş said, “We take care to be in the market where Turkey trades the most. We are working intensively with China on the sea route and with Central Europe on the highway. While the pandemic process that started in 2020 was devastating for some companies, it created an opportunity for growth for Doruk Group. During this period, there was a serious shortage of equipment supply. We have provided complete equipment with the right partners during this period, and this success has brought more returns near the end of the pandemic. As we managed the process well, the pandemic process also accelerated and the investments continued. Saying that Doruk Group of Companies will increase its turnover and close the year 2022 with a turnover of 3 million Euros since its establishment, Aktaş said, “As a group company, we continue our services, which started with 3 personnel in 2014, with approximately 50 personnel for now. First of all, we care about providing opportunities for young people and provide employment. All our colleagues who touch the customer are trained in the capacity to do business in all areas of logistics. In this sense, we differ from other companies.” “We will increase brand awareness abroad”
Noting that as Doruk Group of Companies, they plan to invest 1 million euros until the end of 2022, Aktaş said, “We foresee an investment of 4.5 million euros for 2023. The number we aim for can increase, but there will be no decrease. On the other hand, our biggest goal is to open up to the world. While increasing the service quality by spreading around the world, we also want to touch the customers there by creating an international service department. Thus, we will increase brand awareness and value.”
